So, I get a message from @Genzgirl asking me where my submission link is. And I’m like
What do you mean you can’t find my submission link? I changed my theme a couple of months ago and haven’t really fussed with it since. So I go over to check it out and sure enough, no submit link. I’m like
Because I love submissions and had been wondering why they were way down, like, non-existent, but figured people just weren’t interested.
Even though I have the submissions thing enabled, I guess my stupid theme didn’t support it, but my theme on FYAwesome90sStuff did support it. So people were able to sneak in that way. So I’ve reverted back to my old theme until I can figure out something better.
So, please submit! And I am an idiot for not noticing this was a problem for all these months.
Thank god I have you guys to keep my shit in order. Thanks @Genzgirl!
Here I am getting ready for a dance recital. I’m sporting the famous white socks and sneakers look, along with a unibrow. I don’t look very pleased to be there.
It takes bravery to share awkward childhood photos with the Internets. I should woman up and dare to post my grade 8 graduation dress picture. Maybe. Someday. Anyway, I also like the scrunchie and kicky side ponytail!
Buzzfeed just posted "Why Beverly Hills, 90210 is the epitome of fashion" with a ton of pictures. How do you feel about this? Do you feel resentful that they're crowding your niche? Or are you grateful because they just handed you some tasty material? ((I can't include the link, so go to Buzzfeed and search for the article))
My little outfit here is so itty-bitty compared to the giant Buzzfeed machine that I could hardly feel crowded by them. I really enjoy their lists and I think it’s cool they’re embracing the Ugly ’90s aesthetic. One of the Buzzfeed writers follows this blog and I think she is awesome. The only time I got annoyed with BF was when they used a bunch of my original scans for a list and didn’t credit the blog. Other than that, it’s cool. I don’t own nostalgia.
And now I have to go and check out that list. I better see some flowered hats, Steve’s nipple-grazing jeans, and Kelly’s red blazer.
